Chapter One: Against the Crowd
Phil's Mom: "I'll miss you very much, Phil, but this is where you belong."
Phil: *sigh* "But why, Mom?"
Phil's Mom: "I would tell you if I could, dear Phil. You'll find out soon enough."
Phil: "I'll miss you very much, Mom!"
Phil hugged his Mom as a bus came rushing down the street.
Phil's Mom: "I'll see you soon, Phil!"
Phil waved goodbye as he hopped onto the bus packed with various students. He quickly sat in his seat and imagined his life at his new school. 'A school far away, what's the point?' Phil thought. 'I was fine in my old school.'
Phil thought about all the new possibilities of starting at a new school. 'Well, maybe I could have a fresh start.' He thought. ' I guess that could be the bright side.'
His thoughts were interrupted by the screeching of the brakes.
Bus Driver: "We're here! Have a great day, folks!"
Well, I think it's time for a nap. I'll be back to write more about my adventure later!
